The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel "Around the World in Eighty Days." The Doué Classique rollerball pen with a gold-finish metal cap and dégradé anthracite lacquer barrel draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. On this adventurous second leg, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears on a cartouche on the cap. The gold-finish metal cap features an engraved motif symbolizing good luck. The clip is adorned with a red lacquered ace of diamonds, and the cone bears an engraving of a motif and card suits, representing Fogg's wager to complete the journey in 80 days. The top of the cap features the embossed duration of the journey: 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
