The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne’s famous adventure novel “Around the World in 80 Days”. The Solitaire Midsize ballpoint pen in black-stained wood draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. The wood was chosen to pay homage to the moment Fogg saves Princess Auda from the practice of Sati. In this second adventurous stage, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears in a cartouche on the cap. The barrel and cap bear an engraved pattern with symbols. The clip features a red lacquered ace of diamonds, representing Fogg's wager to complete the journey in 80 days. The top of the cap is embossed with the duration of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
