The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel "Around the World in Eighty Days." The Solitaire Midsize ballpoint pen in black-dyed wood draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. The wood was chosen to pay homage to the moment Fogg saves Princess Auda from the obligation of practicing Sati. On this adventurous second leg, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears in a cartouche on the cap. The barrel and cap feature an engraved pattern with symbols. The clip sports a red-lacquered diamond ace, representing Fogg's bet to complete the journey in 80 days. The top of the cap is embossed with the duration of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
