Giuseppe Bottai (1895–1959)
An intellectual, politician, and art critic, Bottai was one of the most complex figures of Italian Fascism. Minister of Corporations and then of National Education, he was among the signatories of the Grandi agenda that deposed Mussolini in 1943.
