An extraordinary and extremely rare square Art Deco wooden table with an inlaid top, made in Rome in 1933 for Minister Giuseppe Bottai, with its original inscription. A piece of Italian history that goes far beyond antique value: this table witnessed the decisions of one of the protagonists of the Fascist regime and 20th-century Italian culture, Minister of National Education and founder of the magazine Critica Fascista.

Giuseppe Bottai (1895–1959)
An intellectual, politician, and art critic, Bottai was one of the most complex figures of Italian Fascism. Minister of Corporations and then of National Education, he was among the signatories of the Grandi agenda that deposed Mussolini in 1943. A table with his documented provenance is a piece of history with exceptional collector's value.
