The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel "Around the World in 80 Days". The LeGrand fountain pen in precious anthracite resin is inspired by the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. In this second adventurous stage, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears in a cartouche on the hood. The clip features a red lacquered ace of diamonds and the cone is engraved with a motif inspired by Princess Auda's jewels and card suits, representing Fogg's bet to make the journey in 80 days. The top of the cap features the embossing of the duration of the trip, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is completed by a handmade nib in 14K gold, decorated with a hot air balloon and with the dates 20/10 and 14/11: Fogg leaves Bombay on October 20 at 20:00 and Yokohama on November 14 at 18:00.
