Longines, which has always associated its name with the world of sports, puts its expertise at the service of diving. It all began in 1937, at a time when water-resistance became a quality criterion. Longines thus developed a case with water-resistant pushers for its legendary 13ZN calibre and did not fail to patent its creation. Subsequently, the winged hourglass brand made numerous developments that led it, in 1958, to create its first civilian diving watch, followed in the 1960s by several other models of the same type.
