Ico Parisi (19161996) is one of the most eclectic and refined figures in twentieth-century Italian design and architecture. Born in Palermo in 1916 and raised in Como, he developed a rigorous formal language influenced by European rationalism. In the 1950s, he collaborated with his wife Luisa Parisi and with MiM (Mobili Italiani Moderni), producing iconic pieces such as the "Urio" modular system (1957) and the "Tolomeo" executive table (1958). His pieces are featured in design museum collections worldwide.
